Section 1.01.010 Adoption of the Municipal Code.

The ordinances of the city, up through Ordinance No. 2009-0281 as amended which are codified in this volume entitled "Municipal Code of Sioux City, Iowa", shall constitute the Municipal Code of Sioux City, Iowa. Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 380.5, grade ordinances, bond ordinances, zoning map ordinances, ordinances vacating public rights of way and ordinances containing legal descriptions of urban revitalization areas and urban renewal areas are excluded from this code. Ordinances and amendments which become effective after the effective date of this ordinance shall be compiled as supplements to the Code and upon adoption of the supplement by resolution become a part of this code.
