Section 1.01.030 Effect of code on past actions and obligations.

The adoption of the updated Municipal Code provided for in Section 1.01.010 shall not affect any offense or act committed or done, or any penalty or forfeiture incurred, on any contract, or right established or accruing before the 11^th day of April, 2009, nor shall such appeal affect any ordinances, or portions thereof, not heretofore specifically repealed, it being the intention of the city council that all ordinances or provisions thereof, heretofore enacted and not contained or included in this code shall remain in full force and effect, any statements in Chapter 1.01 of the Municipal Code of Sioux City, Iowa, to the contrary notwithstanding .
