Section 10.24.010 Ticketing for parking violation.

Chapter 10.24 PARKING VIOLATIONS-ENFORCEMENT

1. In the event of a violation of the provisions of this ordinance regulating the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles, it shall be the duty of police officers and other authorized employees of this city to issue a notice of a fine and attach it to the vehicle.

2. The notice shall state:

a. The violation involved;

b. In the event of a parking meter violation, the number of the parking meter;

c. The state and license number of the vehicle;

d. The time the ticket was issued;

e. Any other fact or facts relevant to the violation.

3. Parking meter attendants and the code enforcement officer in the inspection services division of the community development department are authorized to enforce all parking ordinances.

4. The police chief may authorize owners of real property to issue notices of fine for parking violation on their parking facilities. (Ord. 2005-0963; 96/U-4395; 85/T-3504)
