Chapter 10.24 PARKING VIOLATIONS-ENFORCEMENT
Section 10.24.030 Fine Collection.
1. The owner or operator of any vehicle who receives a simple notice of a fine,
either
personally by the attaching of such notice to the vehicle, that the vehicle is in violation of the
ordinance of the city shall pay to the city a fine for such violation.
2. The amount of the fine shall be as follows:
a. For parking in any space where a parking meter is
installed, when the meter has expired, a
sum of seven dollars if paid within thirty days after issuance; if paid after the thirtieth day, the
sum of twelve dollars;
b. For parking in any space in a meter box parking facility
or suburban meter box facility for
a period longer than that which has been paid for, a sum of seven dollars if paid within thirty
days after issuance; if paid after the thirtieth day, the sum of twelve dollars.
c. For parking in any space for a period of time longer
than permitted by a sign or notice on
the meter or meter box, regardless of the amount of money inserted in the meter or meter box, a
sum of seven dollars if paid within thirty days after issuance, if paid after the thirtieth day, the
sum of twelve dollars;
d. For all violations of designated handicapped parking
spaces, the sum of one hundred
dollars.
e. For all other parking violations, the sum of thirty
dollars if paid within thirty days after
issuance, if paid after the thirtieth day, the sum of thirty-five dollars.
