1. The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person shall immediately by the quickest means of communication give notice of such accident to the Sioux City police department.

    2. The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person, or total property damage to an apparent extent of five hundred dollars or more shall also, within seventy-two hours after such accident forward a copy of the written report of such accident required to be filed with the State of Iowa to the Sioux City police department.  (Ord. 91/T-10306)
