Chapter 10.30 MISCELLANEOUS CITY RULES OF THE ROAD
Section 10.30.130 Time limit on parking.
1. No vehicle shall be parked or remain at the same location upon any street,
alley or public ground at
any time for a period longer than twenty-four (24) hours, or in any municipal parking lot, except long
term
airport parking facilities, for a continuous period of more than twenty-four (24) hours unless specifically
authorized by the city manager or his designee. Vehicles must be moved at least thirty feet (30)
in distance
during each twenty-four (24) hour period in order to avoid penalty under this section.

provisions of this chapter for
any owner or driver to permit a vehicle to remain in violation of this chapter. Every four (4)
hours that a
vehicle remains in violation after an initial notice of fine has been attached to the vehicle shall
constitute a
separate and distinct offense punishable as provided in section 1.04.100 of this code.
3. In addition to the penalty listed in subsection 2 above, any vehicle which
remains upon any street, alley
or public ground for a continuous period of more than forty-eight (48) hours without authorization and
without being moved shall be deemed an abandoned vehicle and shall be towed without further notice.
