Chapter 10.30 MISCELLANEOUS CITY RULES OF THE ROAD
Section 10.30.280 Skateboards, Roller Blades and Roller Skates.
1. Skateboarding, roller blading and roller skating shall be prohibited on any
public property
where signs have been erected prohibiting skateboarding, roller blading, and roller skating:
2. Notwithstanding their status as pedestrians, skateboard operators, roller
blade operators and
roller skate operators on sidewalks shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicular traffic and to all
other pedestrians (non-skateboard, non-rollerblade or non-rollerskate) traffic upon the sidewalk.
3. Skateboard operators, roller blade operators and/or roller skate operators
on roadways shall
be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to non-skateboard,
non-roller blade and/or non-roller skate pedestrians.
4. No more than one person shall operate or ride on a skateboard at one time.
