Section 10.30.330. Over weight and/or over length vehicles.

1. No motor vehicle or a combination of vehicles exceeding the maximum size or weight requirements specified by Chapter 321 of the Code of Iowa shall operate upon the streets within the city unless the motor vehicle or the combination of motor vehicles has been issued an annual permit or a single-trip permit by the city.

2. No motor vehicle or a combination of vehicles exceeding the maximum size or weight requirements specified by Chapter 321 of the Code of Iowa which has been issued an annual permit or a single-trip permit shall operate upon the streets within the city unless the operator notifies the Woodbury County Information and Communications Center two hours prior to actual travel on any street or highway within the corporate limits of the time and route said vehicle or combination of vehicles proposes to use within the corporate limits.

3. The fee for the issuance of a single-trip permit by the city shall be fifty dollars. The fee for the issuance of an annual permit by the city shall be one hundred fifty dollars. (Ord. 91\T-10306, 2006-0875)
