Section 10.52.100 Lamps and other equipment on bicycles.

    1. Every bicycle shall be equipped with a lamp on the front exhibiting a white light from sunset to sunrise and at such other times conditions provide insufficient lighting to render persons and vehicles clearly discernible at a distance of three hundred feet to the front and with a lamp on the rear exhibiting a red light visible from a distance of three hundred feet to the rear, except that a red reflector may be used in lieu of a rear light.
    2. No bicycle shall be equipped with nor shall any person upon a bicycle use any siren or whistle.  (Ord. 85/T-4105; R-12185, 1961).
