Section 10.82.010 Definitions.

For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms are defined:

1. "Abandoned vehicle." The definition from subsection 321.89(1)(a) of the Iowa Code is adopted by reference.

2. "Department" means the police department of the City of Sioux City, Iowa. A police officer or the code enforcement officer of the inspection services division of the community development department is authorized to enforce the provision of this chapter.

3. "Private property" means any real property within the city which is not public property as defined in this section.

4. "Public property" means any public right-of-way open for the purposes of vehicular travel. (Ord. 2005-0963; 2002-0391; 96/U-4395; 94/U-2157; 84/T-2722)
