Section 10.94.035 Hourly and daily rate: Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center.

Chapter 10.94 MUNICIPAL PARKING RAMPS AND LOTS

1. Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. a charge of $0.75 shall be made per hour or any part thereof for each motor vehicle occupying any stall in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center. The daily maximum rate for the time period from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shall be $5.25.

2. Between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. a charge of $1.00 shall be made per hour or any part thereof for each motor vehicle occupying any stall in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center; provided, however, the maximum charge for this time period shall be $3.00.

3. The maximum charge for any 24 hour period in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center for any one vehicle shall be $8.25. The fee for each subsequent 24 hour period or part thereof shall be as provided for herein.

4. The charge for a lost ticket shall be $8.25.

5. There shall be no charge for any motor vehicle occupying any stall in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center on a Saturday or Sunday provided, the vehicle enters the parking ramps after 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and exits the parking ramps prior to 12:01 a.m. on Monday.

6. No motor vehicle shall be parked in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center for longer than 24 consecutive hours without the consent of the city or its duly authorized agent.

7. Event Parking: The finance and administrative services director may dedicate the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center to be used for parking by persons attending a special event in the city. All persons using the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center when dedicated for a special event shall pay a charge of $3.00 upon entering the ramp, including weekends.
