Chapter 10.94 MUNICIPAL PARKING RAMPS AND LOTS
Section 10.94.045 Monthly and Bulk Rates: Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center.
1. Monthly rate - Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center: A charge
of $50.00 per month shall be
made for each motor vehicle leasing space on a monthly basis in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation
Center and specifically designated therefore by the city.
2. Bulk rate: The monthly charge including tax if applicable for each
motor vehicle leasing a space in the
Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center when more than two spaces are purchased by one person shall
be in accordance with the following schedule:
Spaces Used Charge Per Month
2 - 100 $45.00
for each space
101-199 $40.00
for each space
200-299 $38.00
for each space
300 and over $34.50
for each space
The city shall designate these spaces.
3. A monthly rate of $75.00 per month for reserved parking spots
in the Martin Luther King Jr.
Transportation Center shall be charged.
4. Conditions and restrictions on monthly, individual and bulk
rate parking. Motor vehicles
occupying space on a monthly, individual or bulk rate basis are subject to the following
conditions and restrictions:
a. Parking spaces are on a first come
first served basis and there shall be no guarantee of a
reserved parking space except the city manager may issue individual permits.
b. Public parking on a single space
basis shall have first call and private and bulk rate
purchases shall be reduced or not renewed if the city determines such reduction or non-renewal is
necessary to accommodate parkers desiring to utilize ramp parking on a single space basis.
c. Except as provided in sub-paragraph
a. above, parking rentals, whether monthly, or bulk,
are on a first come first served basis.
d. The same rate charge per month shall
be available and applicable to any person
purchasing 100 or more spaces irrespective of the number of spaces. (Ord. 2003-0912; 2003-0050)
