Chapter 12.10 UTILITY SERVICE BILLING REGULATIONS


Section 12.10.020 Definitions.

The following words shall have the following meanings as used in this title:

    1. Customer. Customer means the person or persons actually receiving the utility services which may include the owner.

    2. Owner. Owner means the person holding the fee title to or the contract purchaser of the premises receiving the utility services.

    3. Utility services. Utility services means water, sanitary sewer, storm water drainage and solid waste collection services.

    4. Director. Director means the finance and administrative services director.
    5. Department.  Department means the finance and administrative services department.

    6. Meter Interface Unit.  Meter Interface Unit means electronic telephone device used to transmit meter reading data from the water meter to the City’ s automated meter reading system.

    7. Automatic Meter Reading Device.  Automatic Meter Reading Device means electronic equipment attached to the water meter to obtain a remote read. (Ord. 2006-0415; 2002-0692; 98/U-6342; 96/U-3987; 94/U-1987; S-40615, 1980)
