Chapter 12.10 UTILITY SERVICE BILLING REGULATIONS

Section 12.10.145 Confidential information.

Information and data on a user obtained from a report, questionnaires, permit applications, permits and monitoring programs and from inspections shall be available to the public or other governmental agency without restriction unless such availability is prohibited or prescribed by Chapter 68A of the Code of Iowa or other applicable state and federal law.  To the extent that the city of Sioux City is required to maintain the confidentiality of the above records pursuant to Chapter 68A of the Code of Iowa, other applicable state or federal law, such information and data on a user will be permitted to be available to the public or a government agency only upon compliance with the terms and conditions of such applicable state and federal laws.  (Ord. 2004-0795)
