Section 12.12.085 Special connection charge.

If the property to be connected to a public water main has not been assessed for any part of the costs of construction of the public water main, the owner shall pay a special connection charge to the city. The city shall determine the amount of the charge for such permit, which charge shall be an equitable portion of the cost of the public water main, and the amount so determined shall, upon confirmation by the city council by resolution, be paid to the city treasurer and credited to the proper fund before a permit to make such connection shall issue. Such permit, when issued, shall be in writing and signed by the city manager or his designee. (Ord. 98/U-6342; S-32784, 1977)
