The city manager shall have the control and supervision of city cemeteries.  The director shall be responsible for the day to day management of city cemeteries.  They shall have the powers and duties necessary for the enforcement of this chapter, the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, and other ordinances relating to city cemeteries.  Upon payment of the required compensation, they shall have the authority to execute purchase agreements and deeds for the sale of burial spaces.  (Ord. 92/U-269, 85/T-3630)
