Section 15.04.040 Exceptions and modifications.

Special cases may arise in which the literal enforcement of a provision of this chapter may impose unnecessary hardship or unintended results.  The director is authorized without notice, to make exceptions, suspensions or modifications in any of the provisions of this chapter or the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder when, in the director's sole judgment, the same appears advisable.  Such temporary exception, suspension or modification shall in no way be construed as affecting the general application of the provisions of this chapter.  The refusal by the director to make such exception, suspension or modification from the literal enforcement of the provisions of this chapter or rules and regulations shall not be an appealable action.  (Ord. 85/T-3630).
