Section 17.04.090 Bond.

All persons proposing to make any excavation in any street, avenue or alley or take up any improvements thereon for any other purposes or for any time to obstruct said streets and alleys for building or other purposes shall make and execute to the city a bond which will be the same as that required for a Class I plumbing contractor's license as specified in Chapter 20.14 of this code. Said bond shall additionally provide that in so using said streets or alleys they will conform to and be governed by the terms and conditions of this chapter and that they will keep the street or alley in good and safe repair at the point so proposed to be used for a period of six months next after the completion of the work for which excavation or other use of the street or alley is asked and granted. However, this section shall not require a bond in addition to the bond already furnished the city pursuant to Chapter 20.14 of this code. (Ord. 2003-0437; 84/T-2551)
