Chapter 17.24 SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL
Section 17.24.045 Request for hearing and appeal.
Any person assessed with costs as provided in Section 17.24.050 may have, upon request, a hearing with
the officials making said assessment. A request for a hearing must be made in writing and delivered
to the
office of the City Manager within the time stated in the notice or it will be presumed that the assessment
is
valid. The City Manager or the City Managers designee will act as hearing officer. Following
the hearing,
the hearing officer shall render a written decision. An appeal from this decision may be had by
filing a
written notice with the hearing officer. This appeal will be heard before the City Council at
a time and
place fixed by the Council. The findings of the Council shall be conclusive. (Ord. 2001-1034)
