Section 19.04.020 Purpose and Scope.

It is the purpose of Chapter 19.04 to adopt a complete fire prevention code, including provisions for inspection and regulation to safeguard life, property and the environment from the hazards of fire and explosion and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the use or occupancy of buildings or premises, for issuing permits and for providing penalties for violations.
