Chapter 19.04 FIRE PREVENTION CODE


Section 19.04.310.9 Section 310 – Smoking – Modified

    Section 310 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
    “Section 310.9 –  Smoking.  It shall be unlawful for any person to start or cause a fire in bed or other furniture, in a hotel, motel, congregate residence, apartment house or multiple dwelling, by placing or leaving any lighted cigarette, cigar or other smoking material on any bed or other furniture, or by permitting any said smoking material to fall upon a bed or other furniture in any above occupancy.”  (Ord. 2007-0488)
