Section 19.04.5000 Section 5000

1. Fire Zone Number One. Fire zone number one shall include all of that property located within an area beginning at a point on the centerline of Pearl Street where the north line of the Burlington Northern right-of-way intersects Pearl Street; thence running easterly along the north line of the Burlington Northern right-of-way to that point where the Burlington Northern Tracks intersects the centerline of Jennings Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Jennings Street to that point where Jennings Street intersects the centerline of Sixth Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Sixth Street to that point where Sixth Street intersects Jones Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Jones Street to that point where Jones Street intersects Eight Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Eighth Street to that point where Eighth Street intersects the centerline of Pearl Street thence southerly along the centerline of Pearl Street to that point where Pearl Street intersects the Burlington Northern Tracks at the point of origin.

2. Fire Zone Number Two. Fire zone number two shall include that additional property not identified in fire zone number one but located within any area bounded by Kansas Street where the centerline of Kansas Street would intersect the centerline of the Missouri River if the centerline of Kansas Street were extended southerly in accordance with its present line of direction; thence northerly along the centerline of Kansas Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of West Third Street; thence westerly along the centerline of West Third Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Market Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Market Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of West Sixth Street; thence westerly along the centerline of West Sixth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Panoah Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Panoah Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of West Eighth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of West Eighth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Cook Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Cook Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of West Ninth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of West Ninth Street to that point where, if extended, it would intersect the centerline of Perry Creek; thence southerly (downstream) along the centerline of Perry Creek to that point where it intersects the centerline of Tenth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Tenth Street to the center of the block between Douglas and Pierce Street; thence northerly along a line which would lie through the center of the blocks lying between Douglas and Pierce Street to the centerline of Twentieth Street; thence easterly one block on the centerline of Twentieth Street to the center of the block between Pierce and Nebraska Street; thence southerly along a line which would lie through the center of the block lying between Pierce and Nebraska Street to the centerline of Tenth Street; thence easterly along Tenth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Jennings Street; thence southerly along the centerline of Jennings Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Eighth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Eighth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Court Street; thence southerly along the centerline of Court Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Sixth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Sixth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of Clark Street; thence southerly along the centerline of Clark Street to that point where, if extended, it would intersect the centerline of the Floyd River Channel; thence southerly (downstream) along the centerline of the Floyd River Channel to that point where the centerline extended intersects the centerline of the Missouri River Channel; thence westerly (upstream) along the centerline of the Missouri River to the point of origin.

Fire zone number two shall also include the property located within an area beginning at a point in the center of the block between Douglas and Pierce Street on the centerline of Twenty-sixth Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Twenty-sixth Street one block to the centerline of the block between Pierce and Nebraska Street; thence northerly along a line which would lie through the block between Pierce and Nebraska Street to the point where the centerline of Twenty-eighth Street, if extended, would intersect the centerline of the block between Pierce and Nebraska Street; thence westerly along the centerline of the blocks between Twenty-seventh and Twenty-ninth Street to that point where it intersects the centerline of the block between Douglas and Pierce Street; thence southerly along the centerline of the blocks between Douglas and Pierce Street to the point of origin on Twenty-sixth Street.
