Chapter 2.10 CITY CLERK
Section 2.10.010 Appointment.
A Finance and Administrative Services Department employee shall be appointed city clerk
by the city
council for an indefinite term. The city clerk shall serve at the pleasure of the city council. Deputy city
clerks will be appointed by the city council and shall have all the powers of the city clerk in the
latter's
absence. Before taking office, the city clerk shall have on file in their office, oaths of office
as prescribed
