Section 2.40.040 Organization of the board.

As soon as possible after the appointment of the initial members, the Sioux City art center board of trustees shall organize for the transaction of business, elect a chairman from its own membership, appoint a secretary, and adopt bylaws and regulations to govern proceedings of the board. Four members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. All actions of the board shall be by either resolution or motion and the affirmative vote of majority of the members present, and not less than three, shall be necessary for the passage of either action.
