Chapter 20.05 HOUSING MAINTENANCE CODE
Section 20.05.170 Rental permit issuance.
Rental permits will be issued for all registered dwelling units which comply with the minimum standards
of
this code, as follows:
1. One permit will be issued for each single-family dwelling unit, following
compliance of the unit.
2. One permit will be issued for each duplex dwelling unit following
compliance of both units.
A rental permit will not be issued for a duplex dwelling unit unless both units comply with this
code.
3. One permit will be issued for each multi-family dwelling unit following compliance
of all units. A
rental permit will not be issued for a multi-family dwelling unit unless all units comply with this
