Section 20.05.240 Assessment of cost.

 The payment of all past due inspection fees, valid complaint fees, and administrative fees will be required prior to the issuance and renewal of the annual rental permit on the property. In the event that such fees remain unpaid, the city manager shall report said unpaid charges to the city council. Upon receipt of the report by the city council, the city council shall by resolution, levy and assess the above costs plus an additional fifty dollar assessment fee against the lots or parcels of land as provided by law.  In addition, rental permits for the affected dwellings may be revoked, and a municipal infraction citation may be issued to the landlord.  (Ord. 2008-0925)
