Section 20.14.600 License by reciprocity.

The city recognizes the equivalence of master, journeyman, apprentice plumber and pipelayer licenses of other specific jurisdictions. Following adoption of a written reciprocity agreement with another jurisdiction, any license applicant from such other jurisdiction will be issued a license by the city, without examination, in the same license category, provided that the applicant:

1. Fills out an application form and pays the required application fee.

2. Shows the current license held in the other jurisdiction.

3. Shows a letter or other official document from the council-approved testing agency indicating passage of the appropriate examination with a score of 75% or greater.

4. Pays the required annual license fee. (Ord. 2000-9734)
