Section 20.20.030 Purpose.

It is the purpose of this chapter to adopt a complete mechanical heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) code to protect public health, safety and welfare; to establish regulations governing mechanical HVAC construction work, including minimum standards; permits; fees; inspections; use of licensed trades and enforcement procedures.
