Section 20.20.250 Natural gas supply.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation or other association to supply natural gas to any mechanical system, fixtures or equipment if a permit is required for its installation unless such connection has been authorized by the mechanical inspector. It shall be unlawful to make connections to equipment that has been disconnected or ordered disconnected by the manager or mechanical inspector.

EXCEPTION: When it is necessary that natural gas remain in operation during remodeling, it is permissible for mechanical contractors to temporarily establish such connection before the inspection and authorization. (Ord. 2000-9735)
