Chapter 20.20 MECHANICAL CODE
Section 20.20.405 Master hydronic heating/cooling technician’ s license.
1. New license application.
a. The applicant must submit a letter, on company letterhead
and signed by a holder of a hydronic
heating/cooling contractor s license, stating that the applicant has been employed a minimum of
five
preceding years by the contractor and has actively performed hydronic heating/cooling work and that,
during that period, the applicant has worked in a supervisory capacity a minimum of two years.
b. The board may approve any applicant who demonstrates
any equivalent amount of training,
experience and education, in lieu of a., above.
c. The applicant must pay the required license application
fee.
d. The applicant must pay the required examination fee
to the council-approved testing agency.
e. The applicant must successfully pass a written examination
administered by the council-approved
testing agency.
f. The applicant must pay the required license fee.
2. License renewal.
a. Licenses granted by the city under this chapter prior
to the effective date of the ordinance codified in
this chapter shall be reissued without examination or qualification as the same or similar license as
specified
in this chapter.
3. Possession of license.
a. Current license must be carried by licensee at all
