1. The following structures are exempt from all provisions of this ordinance:

        a. Federally-owned buildings; and

        b. State-owned buildings.

    2. The following structures are exempt from the refrigeration provisions (only) of this ordinance:

        a. Commercial/industrial facilities which have a documented PSM Program on file with the city.

        b. A PSM Program is as defined in Section 1910.119 of “Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry, (29 CFR Part 1910)”  promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, United States Department of Labor, and adopted by reference by the Iowa Division of Labor, copyright 1999, CCH Publishing Company, Chicago, Illinois.  (Ord. 2000-9646; 90/T-9327)
