Section 20.28.170 Citations authorized.

The manager and the plumbing and mechanical inspectors are designated municipal code enforcement officers for the limited purpose of enforcing the provisions of this code which are made their responsibility to enforce. They may issue a citation charging a violation of any provision of this municipal code for which it is their responsibility to enforce and no other. The issuance procedure shall be as required by the laws of the state of Iowa. This section shall not be interpreted so as to require the issuance of a citation. (Ord. 2000-9646; 90/T-9327)
