Chapter 20.36 NONFLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
Section 20.36.010 Definitions.
The following definitions shall apply in the interpretation
and the enforcement of this chapter:
1. "Nonflammable liquid" means and includes any liquid
which has a flash point above two
hundred degrees Fahrenheit as determined in accordance with the standard method of tests for
flash points used by the American Society of Testing Materials Standards.
2. "Atmospheric tank" means and includes a storage
tank which has been designed to operate
at pressures from atmospheric through 0.5 psig. but shall not include portable containers or tanks
with a maximum capacity of less than one thousand gallons. (Ord. S-6689, 1966).
