Section 22.12.060 Tie Down of an Occupied Recreational Vehicle Located in a Floodable Area.

Any occupied recreational vehicle located under authority of this Chapter, if located in any floodable area as identified by the Flood Insurance Study issued by the Federal Insurance Administration or in any other known floodable area designated by the City, shall be anchored to resist floatation, collapse or lateral movement, by providing over-the-top and frame ties.  Specific requirements shall be that:
    1. Over-the-top ties be provided at each of the four corners of the recreational vehicle, with a minimum of one additional tie per side at intermediate locations;
    2. Frame ties be provided at each corner of the recreational vehicle with a minimum of four additional ties per side at intermediate points; and
    3. All components of the anchoring system to be capable of carrying a force of 4,800 pounds. (Ord. 90/T-8267)
