Section 22.32.030 Exemption From Application of This Title.

1. All mobile home parks or recreational vehicle parks shall hereafter be licensed in accordance with the provisions of this title and the laws of the state of Iowa.

2. This title, except for licensing and permits, and except as otherwise provided, shall not apply to any mobile home parks or recreational vehicle parks in existence on or before the effective date hereof, provided however that any changes, additions, and alterations made after the effective date of this title shall meet all the requirements of the provisions of this title.

3. Exception. Mobile home units may be placed on a construction site for construction contractors use. Mobile home units may be placed on an industrial site for security guard shelters. Mobile home units at construction sites shall be removed within fifteen days after the completion of construction. A permit shall first be obtained from the City's Director of Inspection Services before placing a mobile home unit on an industrial site for security guard shelter. Such Permit shall be renewable annually twelve months after its date of issuance. (Ord. 90/T-9107; 90/T-8267)
