Chapter 25.06 ADMINISTRATIVE BODIES
Section 25.06.118 Meetings, hearings and procedures.
1. Regular meetings of the board of adjustment shall be held at the call of
the chairman or as
provided by rule of the board. Special meetings shall be called by the chairman at the request of
any three members of the board or at the request of the city council.
2. All meetings and hearings of the board of adjustment shall be open to the
public.
3. The board of adjustment shall adopt its own rules of procedure for the conduct
of its
business not inconsistent with this title and the statutes of the state. Such rules shall be filed with
the secretary of the board and with the city clerk. Any rules so adopted which relate solely to the
conduct of the board's hearings and which is not mandated by this title or the statutes of the state,
may be waived by the chairman upon good cause being shown. (Ord. S-39237, 1979)
