Chapter 25.12 ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES
Section 25.12.205 Prezoning for planned developments.
1. The official zoning map may be amended by ordinance to provide for the zoning
of areas for
residential or commercial planned developments prior to the filing and approval of an acceptable
site plan.
2. Applications for prezoning shall be filed in accordance with Chapter 25.12,
Subchapter I.
3. Development proposals may be filed at any time following adoption of the
prezoning map
amendment, subject to review and approval pursuant to procedures established under Chapter
25.12, Subchapter II; provided, however, that the applicant may use the short-form procedures as
set forth in Section 25.12.208.
4. All rights enjoyed by and regulations applicable to properties under the
previous zoning
classification shall continue; however, any proposal to convert land or structures to uses
permitted by the prezoning amendment shall be filed in accordance with subsection 25.12.205-3.
