Section 25.12.410 Purpose and authority.

Development in proximity to existing or proposed interchanges (connections other than at grade) between limited access highways and other vehicular routes, which interchanges have been or will be constructed at substantial cost to the taxpayer, may, unless properly planned, have an adverse impact on the efficiency and safety of those interchanges and on the approaches thereto.
Therefore, in order better to ensure that the right to develop private land in proximity to said existing or proposed interchanges is inconsistent with the safe and efficient utilization of those facilities, these regulations shall be applicable to proposed development, in proximity to such interchanges.  (Ord. S-30424, 1976)
