Section 25.42.010 Purpose.

The RG-8 zone is intended to provide and maintain residential areas devoted to high density development in those areas of the city which are already developed at densities comparable to those permitted by the regulations applicable to the RG-8 zone and in those areas which are shown in a specific application for change to be suited to high density urban living. It is intended that such development shall be in proximity to amenities such as public open space and natural scenic vistas and shall be in proximity to commercial, cultural and employment centers, especially the central business district. A variety of dwelling types is permitted. (Ord. S-30424, 1976)
