Section 25.42.020 Principal permitted uses.

Chapter 25.42 RG-8 GENERAL RESIDENCE ZONE

The following principal uses are permitted as of right in the RG-8 zone:

1. All principal uses permitted in the RG-20 zone;

2. Mortuaries and funeral homes and funeral chapels;

3. High rise housing for the elderly.

4. Bed and breakfast homes, subject to the following standards:

a. Minimum gross habitable floor area: 750 square feet per rooming unit

b. Minimum total lot area: 5000 square feet

c. Meals: Meals to overnight guests only

d. Private events: Allowed by Conditional Use Permit, as per Chapter 25.94.

e. Maximum number of non-resident employees: Three

f. Screening: Parking lots for more than three vehicles shall be screened from neighboring residentially zoned or used properties. The screening shall be continuous, six feet in height, and shall consist of a fence, foliage or a combination of such materials.

5. Bed and breakfast inns, subject to the following standards:

a. Minimum gross habitable floor area: 500 square feet per rooming unit

b. Minimum total lot area: 5000 square feet

c. Meals and private events: Meals to overnight guests only. Non-guest meals and/or private events may be allowed by Conditional Use Permit, as per 25.94.

d. Maximum number of non-resident employees: Three

e. Screening: Parking lots for more than three vehicles shall be screened from neighboring residentially zoned or used properties. The screening shall be continuous, six feet in height, and shall consist of a fence, foliage or a combination of such materials. (Ord. 91/T-10465; S-30424, 1976)
