Chapter 25.42 RG-8 GENERAL RESIDENCE ZONE
Section 25.42.030 Accessory uses and structures.
The following accessory uses and structures are permitted as of right in the RG-8 zone:
1. The accessory uses and structures set forth in Chapter 25.92;
2. In high rise housing for the elderly, accessory commercial uses such as retail
grocery and
clothing shops, service shops and professional offices, when designed and intended for the use
and needs of the occupants. Commercial uses oriented to the general public either by virtue of
location of ingress, location of signs or nature of business are prohibited. The aggregate gross
floor area devoted to such commercial use shall not exceed ten percent of the gross floor area
devoted to residential use excluding nonresidential use areas such as vehicle storage, areas for
common use of all occupants, and areas used for mechanical equipment. (Ord. S-30424, 1976)
