Section 25.50.010 Purpose.

This zone is intended to provide business locations for small-scale commercial uses offering primarily convenience shopping for nearby residential areas. Proximity to residences requires that commercial operations in the BN zone be conducted at a scale commensurate with the intensity of nearby residential development, with relatively low demand for public services, transportation and utilities and a minimum of characteristics and effects which might by detrimental or a nuisance to nearby residential properties.
