Section 25.52.010 Purpose.

The BNH heavy neighborhood business zone is to be mapped in areas characterized by good accessibility and is designed to provide neighborhood locations for gasoline service stations and specified retail shopping and consumer service establishments intended primarily for the convenience of nearby residential areas. Proximity to residences requires that commercial operations in the BNH zone be conducted at a scale commensurate with the intensity of nearby residential development and with a minimum of characteristics and effects which might be detrimental or a nuisance to nearby residential properties.
