Section 25.58.030 Prohibited uses.

The following uses are expressly prohibited in the BGM zone:
    1. Manufacturing uses, except those expressly permitted in the BGM zone, and except the fabrication of art and craft objects, bakeries, candy and ice cream stores, and woodworking, when conducted solely to produce items for retail sale on the premises, or as custom orders for delivery;
    2. Warehousing and storage facilities;
    3. Truck terminals and motor vehicle freight establishments;
    4. Drive-in establishments, as defined in Chapter 25.04 of this title, except drive-up teller positions associated with financial institutions located within this zone;
    5. Single-family dwellings;
    6. Gasoline service stations;
    7. Automobile service establishments;
    8. All uses not specifically enumerated as permitted uses in the BGM zone are prohibited, subject to the right, set forth in Subchapter VII of Chapter 25.12, of an applicant to seek a use interpretation by the director of building inspection.
