Section 25.64.055 Regulationed recreational uses.

Commercially operated outdoor recreation uses, as defined in Chapter 25.04 of this title, and outdoor basketball facilities, outdoor skateboard parks, outdoor water slides, outdoor batting practice facilities and athletic fields subject to the following provision and standards:
    1. The application to establish such use shall be accompanied by a development sketch in sufficient form to address the performance standards required by this section, as follows:
        a. Minimum lot size shall be five acres.
        b. Space lighting shall be oriented and shielded so as to prevent the direct glare of beams onto any abutting property, and light poles shall not exceed 65 feet in height.  After hours lighting shall be limited to that necessary for security purposes.
        c. The space limits shall be the same as those set forth in Chapter 25.70 of this title with the exception of lot area.
        d. Off-street parking shall be provided on site in accordance with Chapter 25.96 of this title.
        e. Accessory uses or activities shall be subordinate in area, extent and purpose to the principal use and shall be those which customarily are established in conjunction with the operation of permitted open space type recreation facilities, including accessory sales of alcoholic beverages, accessory food services, and accessory sales and rental of equipment.  (Ord. 90/T-8489)
