Chapter 25.65 MA AGRI-BUSINESS MANUFACTURING ZONE


Section 25.65.050 Conditional uses.

    1. Commercial uses listed in Section 25.65.040 may be established in excess of fifteen thousand square feet to conduct its operations and to store its wares, products, inventory and materials subject to the following standards:

        a. That the commercial use is compatible with the principal purpose of the MA zone, that is, the handling of live animals and their slaughter, or the provision of services oriented to agriculture;

        b. That the traffic generated by the proposed commercial use will not interfere materially with the truck and other traffic generated by the livestock industry use of that area.  Particular attention shall be given to the probable nature of the traffic and the time of day heavy traffic is likely to be generated.

    2. Buildings designed and intended for both businesses and residential use subject to a finding that the use conforms to the space limits of the RG-20 zone. (Ord. 2004-1060; 2004-0004; 98/U-6817; S-43583, 1981)
