Chapter 25.85 -T TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER OVERLAY ZONE
Section 25.85.020 Overlay zone.
1. The – T zone shall not be independently mapped upon the official
zoning map but shall be mapped,
pursuant to the procedures for amending the official zoning map, only in conjunction with any primary
zone. When so mapped the uses permitted in the – T zone are permitted in addition to the
uses permitted in
the primary zone.
2. It is intended that collocation of additional antennas on towers authorized
pursuant to this chapter shall
be permitted provided that the tower has structural capacity to carry the antenna and that the approved
development plan accommodates the siting of any required support facilities.
3. Existing telecommunication towers, based on an approved conditional use are
to be considered as
equivalent to sites that are approved as – T Telecommunication Tower Overlay Zone sites pursuant
to the
provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 2001-0219)
