Chapter 25.85 -T TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER OVERLAY ZONE
Section 25.85.030 Use restrictions.
1. Following are the additional principal permitted uses in a – T overlay
zone:
a. Telecommunication towers without regard to the height
limits of the primary zoning district, subject
to the following:
(1) All telecommunication facilities
shall be permitted only in conformance with a development plan
approved either in conjunction with or subsequent to the approval of the – T overlay zoning.
(2) All towers, antennas and
other telecommunication facilities shall meet or exceed all standards
and requirements of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), and any other agency of the state or federal government as well as the city’ s building,
electrical and
mechanical codes.
2. Following are additional accessory uses permitted in a – T overlay zone:
a. Telecommunication towers serving only the needs of
a principal permitted use on the same lot
without regard to the height limits of the primary zoning district. (Ord. 2001-0219)
