Chapter 26.180 WAR EAGLE URBAN REVITALIZATION AREA PLAN
Section 26.180.010 War Eagle Urban Revitalization Area project description.
In conjunction with Chapters 26.04, 26.10, 26.12 and 26.16 of this title, this plan,
and the tax exemption
allowed under this plan, is applicable to all real property located in the project area. The benefits
of this
plan apply to the rehabilitation and additions to existing buildings and to the construction of new
buildings.
Boundary of Project Area:
A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township
89, North Range 47, West of the 5th P.M., Woodbury County, Iowa, more particularly described
as follows: Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of Section 30-89-47; thence North Three
Degrees Twenty Five Minutes, Thirty Seconds East along the West line of said Section for a
distance of 437.26 Feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing North Three Degrees
Twenty Five Minutes Thirty Seconds East along said West line for a distance of 500 Feet to the
Southerly right of way line of West 4th Street; thence South Eighty Nine Degrees Fifty Nine
Minutes Twenty Six Seconds East along said Southeast right of way line for a distance of 746
feet; thence South Three degrees Twenty Five Minutes Thirty Seconds along a line parallel to
and 746 Feet distance from the West line of Section 30-89-47 for a distance of 500 Feet; thence
North Eight Nine Degrees Fifty Nine Minutes Twenty Six Seconds West along a line parallel to
and 500 Feet distance from the Southerly right of way line of West 4th Street for a distance of
746 Feet to the point of beginning and contains 8.56 Acres, together with an easement for ingress
and egress over a parcel of land described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of
Lot A, Block Four, Fawcetts Subdivision of certain lots in Highland Plat No. 3, Woodbury
County, Iowa; thence West along the South line of West 3rd Street extended West to a point 746
Feet East of the West Line of Section Thirty; thence North parallel to the West line of Section
Thirty a distance of 66 Feet; thence East along the North line of West 3rd Street extended West,
to the Southwest corner of lot Three, Block Five, Highland Plat No. 3, Woodbury County, Iowa;
thence South to the place of beginning, and together with an easement for drainage purposes over
the following described property; to-wit: Commencing at the West corner of Section Thirty,
Township Eighty Nine, North Range Forty Seven, West of the 5th P.M., Woodbury County,
Iowa, thence North Three Degrees Twenty Five Minutes Thirty Seconds East along the West line
of Said Section for a distance of 437.26 Feet to the point of beginning; thence South Eighty Nine
Degrees Fifty Nine Minutes Twenty Six seconds East for a distance of 746 Feet; thence South
Three Degrees Twenty Five Minutes Thirty Seconds West for a distance of Twenty Feet, thence
North Eight Nine Degrees Fifty Nine Minutes Twenty Six Seconds
West for a distance of 746 Feet to the West line of Said Section; thence North Three Degrees
