Section 26.34.060 Administration of the district.

The City Council may, from time to time, appoint or designate such agencies, public or private, to serve as the administrative agency for the district as provided by law. Such agency shall make recommendations to the city council regarding appropriate operating expenditures to be paid from the proceeds of the Operation Tax and to use the proceeds of the Operation Tax for the purpose of paying (i) the administrative expenses of the district, including but not limited to administrative personnel salaries, a separate administrative office, planning costs including consultation fees, engineering fees, architectural fees and legal fees and all other expenses, including those expenses that may benefit properties outside of the district, reasonably associated with the administration of the district and fulfilling its purposes, and (ii) part or all of the maintenance expenses of "improvements" or "self-liquidating improvements" defined in and to the extent authorized by the Act, for a period of five years, all as may be recommended from time to time by the commission to the city council and shall have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the city council. Such agency shall serve at the will of the city council and may be removed or discharged from its duties and appointment at any time, without cause and without notice.  (Ord. 95/U-3579)
